re: Saints 3G Constitution

PREAMBLE:

Whereas many born-again Christians play online games, and

Whereas we as Christians are to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world and proclaimers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:13, "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." and

Whereas the Bible commands Christians to be separate from the world, i.e. sin, in II Corinthians 6:17, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you," and

Whereas to be successful this guild must be organized and ran in an orderly fashion as the Bible commands in 1 Corinthians 14:40, "Let all things be done decently and in order."

Therefore Saints 3G (God, Guild, & Gaming) is established as a safe-haven for all born-again New Testament believers in Jesus Christ to enjoy clean, online gaming entertainment in a protected, organized, & Christian environment.

re: Saints 3G Constitution

Article I: Statement of Faith

Section A: The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the King James Bible, both Old & New Testament to be the infallible, inspired, inerrant, Word of God in the English language "...and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (II Timothy 3:16) and shall be the Official English Bible of Saints 3G used in all official S3G publications.

Section B: The Holy Trinity
We believe that there is only one God Who exists as three Persons, the Father (Jehovah), the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit (i.e. the Holy Ghost), Three in One. (Deut. 6:4; Mat. 12:32; 28:19; John 14:10, 26. 1 John 5:7)

Section C: The Creation & Fall of Man
We believe that God created Man in His own Image (Genesis 1) and that Man fell into sin in the Garden of Eden, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)

Section D: Heaven
We believe that there is a literal Heaven where God dwells on His throne with Jesus sitting on His right hand, and is a true Haven of Rest for the Saints of God which are in Christ Jesus. (Rev. 4:2)

Section E: Hell
We believe that there is a literal Hell which was orignally made for the devil and his fallen angels, but is also the place where all those who have sinned and do not receive Christ by faith as their personal Saviour will go to burn forever. Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Isaiah 5:14)

Section F: The Gospel
We believe that Jesus Christ was miraculously born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life, and died on the cross, shedding His blood for our sins, and He was buried, and He rose again the third day. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:".

Section G: Eternal Salvation
We believe that Salvation is both everlasting and eternal. It is received upon realizing that you are a sinner, then believing by faith that Christ died for your sins and was buried, and rose again the 3rd day, and then by faith, asking Jesus to save you. Romans 10:13, "For whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Salvation is by faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ, it is not of works (Ephesians 2:9) and is not through faith in any other person (John 14:6). Salvation is in Jesus, by Jesus, & through Jesus alone.

Section H: The Imminent Return of Christ
We believe in the pre-millenial return of Jesus Christ to earth to rapture His Saints, the 7 year tribulation following the rapture, and the 1000 year reign of Christ also known as the Millenial reign. (Ps. 89:3, 4; Dan. 2:31-45; Zech. 14:4-11; I Thes. 1:10, 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Rev. 3:10, 19:11-16; 20:1-6)

Section I: The Judgement
We believe that everyone must give an account of theirselves to God. All Christians must stand before God at the Judgement Seat of Christ and be judged according to their service to God for the receiving of their eternal rewards. The unsaved will stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgement and be judged according to their works to be sentenced to eternal death & torment in the everlasting Lake of Fire. (Rom. 14:10; II Cor. 5:10; Rev. 20:11-13)

Section J: Marriage
We believe that marriage, as God intended, is between one man and one woman and that sodomy is a sinful abomination. (Gen. 2:24; Lev. 18:22)

Section K: Abortion
We believe that abortion is murder under any circumstance and that life begins at conception. (Job 3:16; Psa. 51:5, 139:14-16; Isa. 44:24, 49:1, 5; Jer. 1:5, 20:15-18; Luke 1:44)

Section L: Blood-Atonement
We believe that the blood of Christ was pure and sinless blood that completely atoned for the sins of all men who by faith receive Christ as their Saviour. (Matthew 26:28)

Article II: Statement of Purpose

Section A: First as Christians
Our purpose first as Christians is to honor & glorify God in all that we do, including playing an online game. We encourage every member of our guild to maintain a personal walk with God that includes prayer, Bible study, and faithfulness to church and witnessing. Play time should never supersede your quiet time with God or your obligations with your family. As Christians, we shall maintain moral conduct rules and promote a friendly, helpful environment.

Section B: Second as a Community
Our purpose as a guild is to provide all born-again Christians a good, clean, godly environment to come together with their families and enjoy common fellowship while playing online games. Through this fellowship, we will find encouragement, friendship, fun, and edification in the faith. Our doors of recruitment shall always be open to born-again Christians seeking a guild home.

Section C: Third as Gamers
Our purpose in gaming is to play online games that are family-safe, fun, competitive, and support guilds, clans, kinships, or communities. We shall strive to provide support for & voluntary involvement in everything an Official Game has to offer including Crafting, Player vs Player, Raiding, and Roleplay.

re: Saints 3G Constitution

Article IV: Official Games

Section A: Supporting Games
A Supported Game is a game in which the Council has voted to support as the guild's Primary Game (see Section C) or a game in which the Council has at one time voted on to be the Primary Game but moved to Legacy Game (see Section D) status due to insufficient guild activity or interest in said game or any game that has not been a Primary Game that the Council has voted on to be a Legacy Game for the purpose of Legacy Nights as defined in Section E of this Article.

Section B: Desupporting Games
A desupported game is a game which held primary or legacy status but has either (1) lost the interest and casual participation of the entire S3G Community, or (2) disqualified itself by introducing materials contrary to Article III Section A. In the event that said game has met either of these two qualifications for desupport, the Council shall convene to verify that disqualification conditions have been met by the witness of at least 2 Councilors and then the Administration shall promptly desupport the game without further Council deliberations. Games which have been desupported for reason (2) of this section shall have their forums and Discord channels removed.

Section C: Primary Game
The Council shall vote to choose no more than one game as the Primary Game for Saints 3G. Said Primary Game shall require the active presence and leadership of the Overseer as well as full support by the Operational Divisions. Active recruiting efforts shall be made to recruit new members for said Primary Game. Each Primary Game shall have its own forum and Discord channel.

Section D: Legacy Games
As defined in Section A of this article, when a Primary Game fails to maintain the interest of the S3G Community, the Council shall meet to consider voting to move said game to Legacy status. Legacy Games shall retain supported status without the active presence and leadership of the Overseer and without the support of the Operational Divisions. Legacy Games shall be supervised by an appointed volunteer Officer active in said game who shall report to the Overseer or designee. The designated supervisor may appoint volunteer NCO's to aid in supervision. Each Legacy Game shall have its own forum and Discord channel.

Section E: Legacy Nights
The Overseer or designee may schedule regular Legacy Nights at their discretion to encourage a revisit to Legacy Games by the S3G Community. All members are encouraged but not required to participate in Legacy Nights when possible.

Section F: Factions & Allegiances
Our allegiance in all Official Games with factions shall be to the good side as perceived in each game with good or evil factions. In games with neutral factions, the Council shall decide which faction Saints 3G aligns itself with. In games with more than 2 factions, the Council shall decide which faction Saints 3G aligns with. "Abstain from all appearance of evil." - 1 Thes. 5:22. The S3G Official Game Guild shall be restricted to one Faction at a time per game.

Section G: Guild Names For New Games
The Council shall poll the S3G Community for ideas regarding the Official S3G Guild Name which shall contain the word "Saints" followed or preceded by other words chosen by the S3G Community and relative to the game chosen so long as the complete name does not violate any provisions within this Constitution. After several names have been compiled from the Community, the Council shall vote on the final Official name to be chosen for said game.

Section H: Server Selection
The Council shall present a list of server names, types, & rulesets to the S3G Community prior to S3G's launching into said game (if available prior to game release). The Council shall host a guild meeting on Discord to discuss server types and selection with the community followed by a poll in which all non-probationary members desiring to play said game may then vote on the Official server including server type & ruleset in which S3G shall call home. The S3G Official Game Guild shall be restricted to one server at a time per game.

Section I: Content Participation
PvP Content, PvE Content, Roleplaying, Crafting, and other Game Content will always be voluntary. No member shall ever be required to participate in content that they do not want to do.

Section J: Unsupported Games
Games in which there is no Official Support or that have been Desupported for inactivity as defined in Section B: (1), are considered Unsupported Games. Members are free to play Unsupported Games with one another and use our Discord server with a game-specific channel. Unsupported game participants are still required to abide by the Code of Conduct and to respect the Chain of Command.

Section K: Alliances
Game Supervisors may appoint a qualified Ambassador for the game which they supervise who may then appoint qualified Diplomats as needed to assist in forming and maintaining alliances with other guilds, clans, or kinships within said game. If no Ambassador is appointed, the Game Supervisor assumes the position of Ambassador of Saints 3G for that specific game. The Council and the Game Supervisor both reserve the right to review and revoke alliances.

re: Saints 3G Constitution

Article V: Membership

Section A: Recruitment Process
Every person aged 13 and older who wishes to be a member is required to submit an application via the Apply to Guild link on our website. The application will then be promptly reviewed and then followed by either acceptance, denial, or closure (in the event that no response from said applicant is received within 14 days). S3G's recruitment is perpetual, meaning that we are always looking to recruit new Christian players. We have no population cap.

Section B: Requirements
Membership with the probationary rank of Initiate shall be granted to any applicant upon review of their application indicating that said person meets all of the following requirements: (1) the person is a born-again Christian and provides a clear testimony of salvation, (2) the person appears to be friendly, honest, & respectful, (3) the person is at least 18 years old or is 13 years old and has parental permission to join S3G, (4) the person is not a sodomite, pedophile, or some other type of perverted person. Recruitment reserves the right to deny an application if said applicant is suspected to pose a danger to the security, sanctity, unity, or purpose of Saints 3G.

Section C: Resignations & Membership Terminations
All members are permitted to leave S3G at their leisure. Membership is strictly voluntary. Likewise, a person's membership may be revoked or terminated at any time by the Administration or by the decision of the Council due to Code of Conduct or Guild Constitutional violations by said person. Membership may also be revoked or terminated for any action in which the Council concurs poses a danger to the security, sanctity, unity, or purpose of Saints 3G.

Section D: Privacy Protection
The sharing, giving, or exchange of another member's personal information such as real names, email addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or any other personal private identifying information with persons or organizations outside of Saints 3G by any member of this guild with access to said information is expressly prohibited to protect S3G member's privacy.

Section E: Minors
Members with minor children under the age of 15 may include their children as Cadets in S3G under their supervision. Cadets differ from Members in that they do not have to have a salvation testimony and they do not fill out an application or use the forums. Cadets are permitted to use Discord and to join our in-game guilds but the Cadet must abide by our Code of Conduct rules and the parent is responsible for the Cadet's actions. Cadets are only permitted Cadet status so long as their parent/guardian remains an active member of S3G. Cadets are to be clearly marked as such on both Discord and in the Game Guild. Members must request permission from a Councilor to enroll their child in the Cadet program. Cadets are encouraged to apply for full membership when they meet all requirements (13+) and when their parent/guardian approves. This program is only for children under the age of 15. Cadets who have reached their 15th birthday have a 90 day transitional period wherein they must decide either to apply for full membership or be else be removed from the program, losing access to guild operations.

In the event said member refuses to comply and leave questionable Guild, their membership in Saints 3G may be terminated. Other Guilds in S3G Supported Games which reside on the same server as the Saints 3G guild, and which members have dual membership in is permitted so long as the S3G member makes it known to the leadership of both guilds of their dual membership. Dual membership with Alliance guilds is permitted so long as the individual plays any cross-over supported games with their primary guild.
