Section G: Alts & Server Transfers
Alts or alternate characters are permitted in the Guild. You may have as many alts in S3G as you wish which is subject to change due to member limits in the game guild. Members may also have alts in another guild so long as that guild does not reside on the same server as S3G.

In the event of a S3G guild server transfer to a server in which S3G characters are playing in another guild on said server, those characters with memberships to other guilds are permitted to remain in those guilds providing the member has at least one character who is a member with the S3G guild. Unguilded characters of S3G members or characters that leave a non-S3G guild under this "grandfather" clause must either remain unguilded or join the S3G guild.

Members are allowed to include their children or others for which they are legal guardians aged 12 and under into gameplay without formal guild initiation. This can include the in-game guild and TeamSpeak. Parent/Guardian Saints must maintain a continuing active participation in the game(s) the child is playing and provide proper supervision. Permission must be granted by the appropriate Game Manager, and children should be clearly marked as the game mechanics allow and as determined by the Game Manager. The actions of non-member children fall under the responsibility of the Saints member.

The word Saints is used to imply that we are comprised solely and entirely of professed born-again Christians which are called "saints" in the Scriptures. The predicate "3G" is derived from our focus and purpose being: God, Guild, and Gaming. However, a different and unique descriptive predicate may be added to our guild name "Saints" in a game with a Saints presence to show our association with that game.

Our guild shall focus on and support any online game in which the Council decides to focus on and support.

Members are permitted and highly encouraged to be a witness for Jesus Christ to others whenever possible. As we have not read SWTOR's TOS Members should be aware of the Terms of Service (ToS) of each game; we do not yet know on what level it will be permitted in their game, however, we should never pass up an opportunity to share the Gospel to with a lost soul.

Section A: Recruitment Process
All applicants are required to submit an application via the Apply to S3G Community link on our website. The application will then be reviewed followed by either acceptance or denial. S3G Community recruitment is perpetual, meaning that we are always looking to recruit new Christian players. We have no S3G Community population cap.

Section B: Requirements
Approval shall be granted to any applicant upon review of their application indicating that said person meets all of the following requirements: (a) the person is a born-again Christian and gives testimony of salvation (b) the person appears to be friendly, honest, & respectful (c) the person is at least 18 years old or has parental permission to join S3G Community (d) the person is not a sodomite, pedophile, or some other type of perverted person. The S3G Community Council reserves the right to deny an application if we suspect that said applicant poses a danger to the sanctity, unity, or spirit of S3G Community.

Section C: Resignations & Dismissal
If at any time a member wishes to leave the S3G Community, they are permitted to do so. Membership is strictly voluntary. Likewise, a person's membership may be revoked at any time by the administration (Overseer or CEO, or the decision of the S3G Community Council) due to Code of Conduct or Rule violations by said person.

Section D: Privacy Protection
The sharing, giving, or exchange of another member's personal information such as real names, email addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or any other personal private identifying information with persons or organizations outside of S3G Community by any member of this guild with access to said information is expressly prohibited to protect S3G Community member's privacy. Exception is made in the case of a) legal investigation in which legal authorities subpoena said information or b) in an emergency life-threatening situation in which EMT, Police, or Firefighter response is needed.

Section E: Non-Member Children

Article VII: Policies & Procedures

Section A: Discipline
Disciplinary action may be taken upon any member that violates the rules, policies, procedures, and/or code of conduct policies outlined in this constitution. Disciplinary action, herein referred to as a reprimand, will range from a written/verbal warning reminder up to and including dismissal from the guild. The Administration shall establish a fair Disciplinary Policy and post it on the website for all members to read.

Section B: Member Promotions
  1. Saint:
    To be eligible for promotion, all Initiates are required to undergo:
    • A minimum 14 day probationary period
    • The Initiate Orientation & Training Course herein referred to “IOTC” which includes both Orientation to familiarize the Initiate with the guild S3G Community and answer questions and Basic Training so that we can help familiarize them with the game website and TeamSpeak and get to know them personally.

    During their probationary period, Initiates will be contacted by the Prime Minister or designee in regards to scheduling Orientation which will focus on familiarizing them with important information as well as details regarding Basic Training requirements. Initiates who refuse do not complete IOTC will not be eligible for promotion to Saint. Initiates who join the guild prior to launch are not required to undergo Basic Training.

    Certain members may be eligible to wave IOTC by sending a Private Message to the Prime Minister describing circumstances which would prevent them from playing Star Wars The Old Republic such as not being a gamer, not being able to afford the game, not being able to play it on their computer, etc. The Prime Minister may supplement or wave Basic Training with a voucher from another member or at his own discretion.

    Once per week, the Prime Minister shall review compile a list of all guild Initiates who have met the minimum promotion requirements outlined above along with a recommendation report from their Instructor and upon satisfactory review, the Prime Minister shall nominate said Initiates for promotion on the guild S3G Council Floor. The Council will then review the Prime Minister's nominations and vote to decide whether to promote said Initiate to Saint based upon various factors including activity and Christian testimony. If the Council denies said Initiate's promotion, his re-nomination will be postponed until said Initiate has met the above requirements.

    An official announcement will be posted on the S3G forums weekly to notify the guild of any and all member promotions.

    For Initiate re-promotion procedures dealing with demotions due to inactivity, please refer to Art. VII Sec. F.

  2. Saint First Class:
    Selected Saints may be eligible for further promotion to the rank of Saint 1st Class. Requirements for this promotion include: but are not limited to: (a) 3 months of active membership, (b) display good Christian conduct, attitude, and testimony, (c) must be loyal, devoted, and stand out in the community as a volunteer and leader. contact a Training & Orientation Officer and complete a Community Competency Test. Upon meeting said requirements, the Prime Minister or designee shall promote the Saint to SFC.

    Members holding the rank of SFC prior to this change are not required to complete the competency test to keep their rank.

Section C: Officer & Councilor Promotions
  1. Council Members will be elected to the Council based upon their testimonies, treatment of others, and activity in the Guild. Any Councilor may nominate any Guild Member Saint or higher for the position of Council Member without the Member's knowledge. The Council will then discuss & vote on the Member. If the Council agrees, the Member will be summoned to the Council and offered the position of Councilor. If they accept, they will be granted the seat via a ceremony. If they deny, the process will begin again.

  2. Executive Officer promotions will be based primarily upon their testimony, their attitude and treatment towards others, their willingness to serve others, and their ability to fulfill their respected duties as an Executive Officer as defined in Section L.3. The Master of the Council & the Chief Councilor shall set a time to meet & agree upon 2 candidates for each Executive Officer position available unbeknownst to the candidate. Once these 2 candidates are chosen, they will be introduced A Councilor shall nominate a member ranked Saint or higher to the Council for discussion & vote. If the Council agrees (see Section F), the candidate will then be summoned to the Council where they will be offered the position and read the responsibilities of the position. If they do not accept the position, the process will begin again until a qualified candidate is chosen. If they do accept the position, they will be promoted via a promotion ceremony similar to that of Members. All Officers are to undergo Officer Orientation to familiarize them with their duties.

  3. Junior & Senior Officers will be nominated based upon their testimonies, attitude, character, activity, and ability to do their required duty. An Executive Officer may nominate any Saint for promotion to a Junior or Senior Officer position under their branch of authority (See Ranks). The Council will then discuss & vote on the Junior Senior Officer Candidate. If approved by the Council, the Nominee will be summoned to the Council and offered the position. If they accept, they will be promoted via a ceremony. If they deny, the process will begin again.

  4. Junior & Non-Commissioned Officers shall be appointed by the Administration, Division Commanders, and/or Game Managers based upon the needs of their respective Division and/or Game. Junior Officers & NCO's are expected to meet and adhere to the Officer Code of Conduct outlined in Art. VI Sec. H. The DC, GM, Council, and/or Administration reserve the authority to demote Officers for Conduct unbecoming an Officer or for going AWOL.

    Non-Commissioned Officers will be nominated based upon their testimonies, attitude, activity, and ability to do their required duty. An Executive, Senior, or Junior Officer may nominate any Saint for promotion to a Non-Commissioned Officer position under their branch of authority (See Ranks). The Council will then discuss & vote on the Non-Commissioned Officer Candidate. If approved by the Council, the Nominee will be summoned to the Council and offered the position. If they accept, they will be promoted via a ceremony. If they deny, the process will begin again.


Section D: Council Sessions
  1. Realtime Council Meeting Sessions
    Realtime Council meetings in which Council members meet in real time to discuss and vote on guild constitutional measures via one of more of the following methods: voice chat, text chat, and/or in-game chat, may only be called to order or scheduled by either the Overseer or Chief Executive Officer. Such meetings will always be pre-scheduled at a time that is convenient for as many Councilors as possible. All members of the Council will be required to attend council meetings unless they are unable to for a good reason. No Council meeting shall be in valid session without both the Master of the Council and the Chief Councilor present (unless by consent of the absentee) along with a minimum of 5 other Councilors for a total of 7. In the event that the Council has less than 7 total members, all Councilors must be present for the meeting to be in valid session. Once in session, each Councilor will be asked in turn by the Master of the Council to speak before the Guild Council to suggest at most two measures (if any) that they wish to put on the floor for vote. If they do not have a measure they wish to discuss, Council will move to the next Councilor. If they do have a measure to discuss, the measure will then be discussed by all Councilors citing reasoning of both the measure's pros and cons. Once discussed, the measure may then be called to the floor for vote by either the Master of the Council or the Chief Councilor. If neither calls the measure to vote, it is then dismissed. If put to vote, the measure will require a minimum of 7 votes to pass. If the Council consists of less than 7 members, a unanimous Council decision is required for anything on the floor to pass. The Master of the Council reserves full authority to dismiss or veto any and all measures or Council decisions if said measure or decision is in any way contrary to the Guild S3G Constitution. Said meetings may be conducted in a Star Wars roleplaying theme but roleplay participation is at the sole discretion of each Councilor.

  2. Forum Council Sessions
    A private forum on the guild website shall be reserved for Councilors to hold non-realtime Council Sessions. Council policies outlining non-realtime Council session procedures shall be determined and posted by the Master of the Council and kept updated (with notice) in said forum. Council Policies & Procedures shall not contradict or infringe upon the Constitution in any way. A minimum of 7 votes are required to pass a proposed measure put on the floor. In the event that the Council has less than 7 total members, a unanimous Council decision is required for anything on the floor to pass. Other Guild Community Measures which are not defined in or by the Constitution may be passed after proposal motion by a 2nd motion and a minimum 24 hour window for Councilor objection on the measure. This is called a short vote. If there are no objections, the measure will pass. In the event of any objection by any Councilor, the proposing Councilor may call for said measure to be placed on the floor for a full vote.

  3. Councilors on Leave of Absence
    In the event that the Council meets in valid session, as defined in either subsection (1) or (2) above, and one or more Council members are on Leave of Absence as defined in Art. VII Sec. F during said session, the total number of Councilors in subsection (1) and (2) is defined as the total number of Councilors not on Leave of Absence.

Section E: Game Content
PvP, PvE, Raids, Battles, Roleplaying and other Game Content will always be voluntary. No member shall ever be required to participate in something that they do not want to do. However, certain parts of the game guild will be focused on certain aspects or content of the game thus all members are encouraged to experience all that the game has to offer.

Section F: Inactivity & Leave of Absence
All Members who plan to be inactive (do not login to the game and/or website) for 30 days or longer are asked required to post a thread in the Leave of Absence forum stating the:

  • Date you are leaving
  • Date you plan to return to the game and/or website
  • Reason for your leave of absence (example: vacation)

*All Senior & Executive Officers & Councilors who plan to be inactive for 15 days or longer must post their leave of absence or they will be demoted to the rank of Saint and lose their leadership responsibility. All Members who are inactive for 30 days or more without a leave of absence, or who post a leave of absence but do not return within 10 days of their posted return date will be considered AWOL (Absent WithOut Leave). AWOL Members shall be demoted to the rank of Initiate D (demotee) on the website.

Said Initiate shall be repromoted to Saint no less than 7 days after said Initiate has returned providing he returns within 180 days of absence and i) notified the Prime Minister by forum post or PM that said Initiate has returned and ii) maintained reasonable Guild activity for those 7 days after which the Prime Minister shall review said Initiate's activity and upon satisfactory review repromote them to Saint.

Members who have been AWOL from the S3G website (www.saints3g.com) for more than 180 days shall lose their membership in the Community and all supported guilds. Exception to this rule is if the member has been granted an extended leave of absence by the Administration.

Section G: Alts & Server Transfers

Members may also have alts in another guild so long as that guild does not reside on the same server as the official S3G server.

Section H: Administrative Authority
Officers in S3G, whether appointed or elected, are hereby granted the authority to administrate their duties as defined in Section L: Administrative Duties & Responsibilities within the S3G Guild. This includes, but is not limited to, administrating or moderating the website's forums, leading in-game events, raising game funds for guild progression, administering appropriate disciplinary actions against members who violate the guild's rules or policies, handling disputes, recruiting new members, and any other duty which may be required to be fulfilled by an Officer.

Section I: Red Alert (Emergency PvP) Status:
In the event of a PvP Emergency as defined in Section J, the Overseer, the CEO, and the Special Operations Commander are authorized to call the guild to Red Alert (Emergency PvP) Status. In the event that the Guild goes to Red Alert Status, all Guild Members are required (if possible) to ready themselves & assemble for PvP combat. The Officer in charge will determine where the Guild is to assemble. Red Alert Status is strictly reserved for defense of ourselves or others in response to direct attacks or distress calls, it is never used to orchestrate a random offensive. The Guild Administration may authorize Red Alert Drills to train and prepare for such emergencies.


Section J: PvP Emergencies Defined:
PvP Emergencies are conditions in which our Guild's base or an Ally's base, our city or an Ally's city, our Members or their Members, in part or in whole, are being attacked by an opposing (Sith) faction in which 10 or more enemy players composed of at least 2 differing enemy guilds are involved and any of the following applies: a) there is a substantial risk of costly item loss such as a base, b) Guild Members or Ally Members are being griefed or spawn camped, c) Guild Housing or Ally Housing is being camped and attacked trapping players indoors, or d) A non-allied fellow Republic Guild sends out a distress cry for help and there are few or none to answer. PvP Emergencies are not organized Guild or Allied events, any type of attack, or response to small Sith gank squads or large Sith sightings. In a non PvP Emergency situation, the Guild may respond at each player's ability & discretion. The PvP Officer should always be ready to organize and assemble a strike team to aid in the defense of an Ally Guild. However, in a non-Emergency situation, participation will be strictly voluntary.


Section K: Awards:
The Council and/or Administration may issue awards to members of the guild including earned awards and commendation awards as well as participation awards and contest prizes at their discretion. All awards shall be featured on the Awards page in the forums.

Section L: Specialized Training Courses:
The Council and/or Training & Orientation Division may offer specialized training courses to members that attempt to familiarize or train members for various situations. The Council shall sticky all currently offered STC’s in the forums for member reference.

Section M: Officer Resignations & Dismissals:
All Guild Officers may at anytime formally resign from their duties as an Officer in S3G and return to member status. Resignations should be officially posted in S3G Discussion for all to see. Officers may also be dismissed from their positions by their Division Commander or the Administration due to inactivity, failure to facilitate their duties, or for Code of Conduct violations (See Art. VIII Sec. C). Upon resignation or dismissal, said Officer's rank shall be set to Saint or Saint 1st Class and all special Officer powers removed. Said Officer's former Council approvals for all Officer positions become void the moment they resign or are dismissed from Officer status.

Several discrepancies exist with former games and alts on various servers. Council will discuss modifying and possibly reimplementing later.

PvP Content, PvE Content, Roleplaying, Crafting, and other Game Content will always be voluntary. No member shall ever be required to participate in content that they do not want to do. However, all members are encouraged to experience all the different aspect of gameplay.

Some aspects of game content may not be something we wish to encourage participation in.

Section A: Establishment
Subsection 1: Structure Established
Saints 3G shall be organized into a paramilitary organizational structure separated into 3 branches: Administration, Council, and Operations.

Subsection 2: Administration Established
The Administration shall consist of the Overseer, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Senior Executive Officer.

Subsection 3: Council Established
The Council shall Consist of: All members of the Administration as defined in Subsection 2 of this Section, and up to 9 other members appointed by the Council as defined in Art. IX.G.1 but shall not exceed 12 Councilors in total.

Subsection 4: Operations Established
There shall be six Operational Divisions each headed by a Division Commander and assisted by a Deputy Division Commander. The six Divisions shall be: JAG, Recruitment, Training, Communications, Diplomacy, & Combat.

Subsection 5: Ranks Established
There shall be a total of 12 ranks defined and given. One rank for probationary members, two ranks for members (non-veteran & one-year veteran), two ranks for non-commissioned officers (former officer & former councilor), one rank for junior officers (Staff Officers), one rank for senior officers (Deputy Commanders & Arbitrators), & five tiered ranks for executive officers (Division Commander, Councilor, SEO, CEO, and Overseer respectively).

Section B: Authority
The Administration, Council, & all Operations Officers are granted full authority and power to execute their duties & responsibilities as defined in all Articles of this Constitution.

Section C: Definition of Duties
Subsection 1: Administration
The duties of the Administration include, but are not limited to, oversight and administration of the following: Guild website, game or VOIP servers, community donations, bills & payments for services, forums, game guilds, Officer permission assignments, social networks, gear stores, & discipline. Administrative duties also include executing and implementing Council decisions; suspending, terminating, and banning of memberships when required; organizing & presiding over Guild and Council meetings; and protecting, defending, and upholding the S3G Constitution.

Subsection 2: Council
Proverbs 11:14 "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." The primary duties of the Council include, but are not limited to, oversight of the S3G Constitution & Community, counseling members, hearing appeals to disciplinary actions, oversight of complaints & unrest within the Guild, appointing additional Councilors, approving new Guild expenditures, and all other Council duties specified in other Articles of this Constitution.

Subsection 3: Operations Officer Positions
(a) Operations Commander
The Overseer shall hold the position of Operations Commander and is charged with direct oversight of all Operational Division Commanders to assure proper Operations functionality. The Overseer also directly oversees all non-divisional Guild Officers.

(b) Division Commander
Each Operations Division shall be headed by a Division Commander who is charged with direct oversight of their respective division and the execution of the Division's duties.

(c) Deputy Division Commander
Each Operational Division shall (at the discretion of the Division Commander or Operations Commander) be assisted by a Deputy Division Commander who is charged with assisting the DC with the oversight of division staff and assuming leadership of the division in the absence of the Division Commander.

(d) Division Staff
Staff Officers are charged with carrying out the duties and responsibilities of their Divisions as defined in Subsection 4 of this article under the oversight and instruction of their Commanding Officers.


Subsection 4: Operations Divisions
(a) JAG:
Responsible for enforcing S3G Code of Conduct rules & policies in the forums, on voice comms, and game chat in accordance with the S3G Disciplinary Policy. Also responsible for pruning the S3G forums for old posts/stickies as well as maintaining the list of reprimands.

(b) Recruitment
Responsible for screening applications to ensure adherence to membership requirements and working with applicants who do not meet said requirements.

(c) Training
Responsible for the orientation of Initiates to ensure new members are familiarized with the leadership, functionality, rules, and procedures of the guild. Also responsible for promotion of Initiates to Saint.

(d) Communications
Responsible for writing content for guild social media such as blogs, newsletters, and Facebook.

(e) Diplomacy
Responsible for forming and maintaining alliances with other guilds in supported games, particularly the primary game.

(f) Combat
Responsible for scheduling group PvP and PvE content within our Primary Game.

Section D: Guild Titles
The Overseer shall assign appropriate titles for all Officer Positions in the guild. Titles should be color-coded for Divisions with non-Divisional officers all using the same color. Titles for non-officers shall be their rank.
