Hello Fellow Saints,

Thought an informal survey of our setups would be interesting, and helpful for you to know what you have as we get nearer to TOR.

So ... what are your specs...

OS-XP Vista Win 7 Linux?
Processor(s)-Pentium 4, Core 2 Duo, Core i7 etc(how many core?)
Graphics-..you get the idea..

What resolution do you game at
What are some of your benchmarks for the games you play(ie LOTRO at HIGH or Crysis on low lol, or WOW ... you get the idear) or if you know FPS your getting put that up too...

re: Post Your PC

Ive got an 8 year old Dell desktop with no graphics card or sound card, with only enough RAM to get on the internet with.

And a 4 or 5 year old laptop that can't hold a battery charge anymore and has to stay plugged in. No graphics card or sound card. It struggles, I mean, STRUGGLES to play youtube videos.

And thats how its going to stay for the foreseeable future.

re: Post Your PC

Intel Dual Core 3.0Ghz Processor
Windows Vista 64 bit (hoping to upgrade to windows 7 at Christmas time)
4 Gigs of ram (DDR2 I think, it's been a while)
nVidia 9800GT video card
WD 500gig 7200 RPM HDD w/32mb cache

I have a second identical HDD I plan to raid 0 once I reinstall windows 7. Can't wait to have a smoother system with a new O/S even though TOR ran just fine with my current setup.

Wireless Network Adapter(Zonet ZEW2545 802.11n 130Mbps Wireless USB Adapter)

Also I installed L.E.D. lights in the case (blue and orange)

The only thing I don't like about it, is that the motherboard doesn't support SLI for NVIDIA cards, but it does for ATI. I didn't plan on going with 2 NVIDIA cards anyways, so ehh.

re: Post Your PC

I'm really out of the loop... built this system 5 years ago and it was top of the line then... it still runs like a champ and I know it'll run TOR so it'll be a while before I build another one.

re: Post Your PC

The MoBo and a few other things gave out in my old gaming rig. Stripped it for parts and upgraded my wifes old Pentium 4 XP machine. It now has a new PSU, an 8800 GPU, and 4 gig RAM (only shows 3). Good enough for Minecraft while I save for a 2011 build.

re: Post Your PC

Unfortunately I got the bug a year ago thinking TOR would be out this year and built a machine. Oh well, it will last me a while. This is all off the top of my head. I'll do my best.

case - Antec 1200
MOBO - Asus P6t
Processor - i7 Nehalem 2.66 GHz x 4
RAM - 6 GB Corsair Dominator DDR3
PSU - 800 watt Corsair I think
GPU - had a NVIDIA GTX 280 but had driver issues so I have a Radeon now
HD - Intel 80GB SSD
HDD - 300 GB Barracuda 7200 rpm
I pieced the monitor, keyboard, and mouse together from other machines.

I also have a Nastromo speedpad = very cool

re: Post Your PC

Bought an ibuypower 2 years ago. It's not as good as Trelmoz's, but it's still pretty solid.

OS - Windows Vista 64-bit
Case - nothing fancy
CPU - Dual Quad Core I7 2.93 GHZ
MOBO - nothing fancy
GFX - GTX 295
RAM - 3x2GB
PSU - just enough
HD - 7200RPM
Fans - just enough
Monitor - Dell 24" S2409W Digital - this thing is very pretty
Res - 1920x1080
Monitor 2 - Dell E193FP
Res - 1280x1024

2nd monitor is for things like wowhead for questing and Vent/TS3 so I can see who's talking.

Am trying to save some $ to get another PC, possibly from ibuypower. Their service is F+ but their game rigs are pretty beast for the price. Would love to enter the realm of SSD... My better 1/2 will get this PC (and play TOR I hope!).

re: Post Your PC

Okay, what a difference a year makes with computers. I don't know all of my specs, but I will list what I know. Don't laugh, but I can laugh at myself

CPU -- AMD Phenom(tm) II quad-core 2.60 ghz
RAM -- Corsair 4g DDR3 plus 1g onboard RAM w/video card
OS -- Windows 7 64 bit
HD -- 465 gb
Video card -- Nvidia GeForce 9800
Monitor -- Samsung 24"
Case -- I honestly don't know, but I got it from ibuypower, so it is one of those nifty, colorful cases. The fans are very quiet, unlike my former computer.
Power supply -- Don't recall, but I know I significantly upgraded on this.
Mouse -- Logitech LX3 Optical

The specs are on the low end now, but it runs great, and I don't think I will need a new one for TOR.
