There are a lot of people here who have very unique Star Wars names, which up til now, I have only hoped to have been pronouncing correctly.
So here it is, your opportunity to let everyone know how to pronounce your name! Optionally, you can also let folks know how you came up with your name.
I'll start us off...
Jao Thaun is pronounced "Jay-Oh Thawn" and is a derivitive of my real name, Jonathan, of which, I was named after Jonathan in the Bible, the son of king Saul, king David's best friend.
Pet peeves: People calling me "Jow" and people spelling my name John, Johnathan, or Jonathon.

haha, i was thinking the same thing Joa Thawn, and that really helped, btw, lol
'Clock' would simply be pronounced "clock" for those who might have been curious.
It is in standing with a fallen city in which only one soldier [he being the eighty-sixth recruit] made it out alive. He bore the name that all might remember the hail and brimstone that rained down that dark and crippled day..

Vista.... as in that super lame OS system that everyone wishes wasn't on their favorite desktop anymore. >.> AltaVista is actually an old internet search engine that I used to use before Google and all that jazz.
My toon's name Aicha is a little more difficult to pronounce (ah'EE-shah). The first two vowels make more of a diphthong, with an emphasis on the second vowel. It's arabic in origin, so yeah... a little trickier for us American twangers. :D

Oh, and I might as well tell everyone how Naandi pronounces her name too. It's more like naaaaaaaaen-dee. Think Billy-Goat Gruff for that prolonged and nasal emphasis on the double a's and you're set.
Practice with me: NaaaaAAAAAAaaaeendEE.
Edit: I'll have you know, I was attacked for posting this. :P *glee!*

Oh, man! And here I’ve been writing this long explanation on how to say it. Hold on a moment while I go strangle a certain person in the next room.
...
Okay back. Here’s how you /do/ pronounce my name. All other failed attempts result in strangling and possible death.
Name: Coara Naandi
Phonetic Name: KOR’uh NAHN’dee
Breakdown: Coara as in apple core. Naandi as in “non non non non-heinous.”
When I first joined SOTOR, I didn’t think I was every going to get all that involved—knowing I was destined for a PVE/RP server. So, I was really lazy about choosing a name and just recycled my old Revan character. Usually I put a lot of thought into name meanings and history, etc. I’m afraid that Coara (meaning small woman) I just stole from my cousin, and Nandi was the name of a favorite historical lady as a kid. Wish I’d put more thought into it now. You know, it’s always a shock when someone first calls you by a shortened version of your name, Naaaaan. Or a longer version of it too, I suppose. -.- I shoulda been a sith goat.

I'm concerned about Vistas personal safety, with her lack of zombie killing skills and loving death threats emanating from a certain relative.
Now to the nitty gritty. The progression of pronunciation of Sandwichman is listed below.
Sand witch man
Sand which man
Sand wich man
Sandwich man
Sandwichman
And then there is
Sandman wich
Sam itch man
Sond vich mon
Bake n man
Bake n
