Episode 0: The Beginning

It was getting dark; the sun was setting over Couruscant’s horizon. Rush-hour for most of Couruscan’s roads were starting to clear up, though it seemed just as compact and congested as it always did to Longo who was sitting at an old Star Port Diner with Chyynbakka. He visited this place on many occasions. It has various cultures to choose from on the menu. It had a larger variety of exotic foods found in various parts of the galaxy. The reason for this is because the owner went in search of recipes to various meals around the galaxy. He spent a whole decade traveling the galaxy for meals, only to open up his own restaurant to share them with people.

With his feet up against the floating table, and both hands holding his stomach as if to say that he was full, he looked over at Chyynbokka, who was happily going through the large amount of food he had ordered. They had made a small fortune on their previous weapons and explosives smuggle-run in for the Republic. However, the big seller was the Kolto. They have been able to stop Kolto ships headed for Hutt territory, and then drag it to the Core Worlds, where they would claim the bounty and be paid very handsomely. The last trip was perhaps the most productive, as they seized a ship carrying mega-tons of it. They couldn’t believe the Hutt’s could afford so much Kolto. Nonetheless, they got it, authenticated it, and hauled back to the Republic.

They hadn’t even spent the amount they earned, only for a nice inn and today’s breakfast.

“You want mine?” Longo asked Chyyn as it looked as if he had finished.

Chyyn just gave him a smile only a wookie could do, and grabbed Longo’s plate and plastered it to his own face, engulfing every piece of edible crunchiness that he could find. After licking the plate clean and seeing his reflection on the platter, he set it down and roared in satisfaction, still with what looked to be sauce and some strands of noodle dangling from his mouth. Longo looked away and then back at Chyyn.

“You about ready to head out?” Longo asked his friend.

“Yes, I am ready” Chyyn growled back in disappointment at the idea of no more food for a few hours.

Longo places a few credits on the table and got up and headed for the rental hauler he acquired from a local transport center.

“We have been asked to jump onboard a Hammerhead; they said they want to kind of ‘reward’ us for helping out with all that Kolto.” Longo explained to Chyynbakka.

“Sound’s like much fun, I am up for it.” Chyyn replied.

“Great, it will be heading out tonight, so we are to get there within the next hour; we just have to pay for the rental real quick.” Longo said, turning in the general direction of most of the businesses in the part of the sector of Coruscant.

After leaving the rental hub and entering the docking bay for the Hammerhead called: Nova-Typhoon, they stopped to update their status on the passenger/crew logs.

Longo and Chyyn walked slowly to the desk as there were many people making their way throughout the port. He looked over his left shoulder to find a group of people with an emblem of a republic symbol, with a colorless lightsaber in the shape of a cross embedded in shoulder pads, helmets, chest pieces, etc. He was told to find this group, as they would be stationed on the same part of the ship as he and Chyyn. So he grabbed Chyyn’s arm and pulled him over to the other group. A few glanced over at him in curiosity and some a little suspicion, but they turned back and kept moving forward towards the central desk to be registered.

It was eventually time for he and Chyyn to register. They got through all of the scanning and questioners to finally be handed a permission receipt and a crew-log I.D. to be able to enter. He quickly fallowed the group into the ship, and headed back into the crew-lodging sections to find their room. Longo specifically paid extra money for a bigger “Officer’s” room for him and Chyyn to remain on the trip. So they broke off from the group, and headed towards their room. After settling in and unpacking their gear, they turned on an intergalactic news report consol that was located near the center of the room. They watched in horror as the reports of the Maw Science and Research Facility had been raided by pirates blared across the screen. The raider's were suspected to be Hutt mercenaries acting in retaliation to the recent theft of the large amount of Kolto they had ordered. Many were dead and wounded; the only items missing were various weapons and explosives taken from fallen guards, medical supplies, and a prototype EMP System that was on its way to being banned from production. It was not known what sort of power it could unleash if activated.
The development was called: “Project_Blackout”. It was originally supposed to be an enhanced combat shield that would send a blast wave to a directed area, disabling all electronic devices and hurling anything in its path to where ever it was pointing. However it was said that the device was exposed to an accidental radiation leak, which morphed its shape and cause the wiring and programing to realign randomly. When trying to probe the device, it let out an EMP blast that disabled all devices in the laboratory. At one point, it nearly shut down the Maw installation, nearly causing it to loose stabilization. The report said that the scientists researching and studying "Blackout" would not run any more tests, as they have no idea what the machine could possibly do.
The report then went on to tell how the next global alignment will take place in about a day. It is always a spectacular thing to see as it only happens every so thousands of years.

Longo switched off the report, and headed to the bridge of the command ship. He stepped through the door to see a Jedi speaking with the captain of the ship. He overheard him saying that they will be passing through some Hutt Territory, and that they asked for extra passengers to protect the ship incase of a boarding party. Longo then stepped forward toward the captain. After introducing himself and Chyynbokka, the captain explained that Nova-Typhoon is to track down the stolen experimental weapon and retrieve it by using any means necessary. After assuring the captain that they would retrieve the device, Longo turned and started heading back out the door when something caught his eye. He glanced over and saw on a security camera screen: A stolen prototype Phantom X-70B inside of a re-enforced housing container to prevent theft. He almost started drooling at the site of the beautiful piece of metallic artwork. Instead he shook his head, turned and went back to his room.

But before he could leave the door, a man's voice rung throughout the bridge.

"There is a vessel on scopes approaching out of hyperspace! Closing in fast!" The man at the long range scanner console yelled.

"What colors is she flying?" The commander yelled in reply.

"No flag sir." The operator yelled back.

"Pirates..." The commander said under his breath.

"Sir, the signature does match the same frigate that attacked the Maw installation, this is the same ship that raided the research facility." The crew-log-man said.

"Alright, they will have to pay extra for their crimes then..."

Just then out of the starboard window came a large frigate-class war ship. It looked to be an old Interdictor-Class Cruiser. Forum Image
Suddenly what looked to be like a green dot slowly got bigger and bigger by the second.

"There firing at us!" Said one person on the bridge.

"Defensive maneuver, shields up and ready weapons now!" The commander barked back.

"Divert engine power to shields!" The commander continued.

Suddenly the green bolt smashed against the bridge, but the blow was taken by the shields. The blow rocked the front side of the ship however, and caused loose objects to fall and threw some against a wall.

"Get the turbo lasers up now! And where is the group of Jedi on board?" The commander asked.

"They are in the guest cabins sir" One of the soldiers replied.

"Well get them up here right now, they might be able to help!" The commander ordered back.

Then suddenly the Hammerhead groaned in agony as it rocked to one side again; taking another turbo-laser blow to the side. In a few minutes the several Jedi made their way to the bridge. They were asked if there is anything they could possibly do to help the situation. One of them nodded in reply and took a knee. Then another, and another, and soon all the Jedi were on their knees or sitting facing out the window to the pirate ship. Suddenly, the large pirate vessel seemed to have been "pushed" to one side, and then it rolled over topside.
The crew watched with dropped jaws in utter amazement at the site of the force in action. Then an explosion went off in the engines, as if the oil line suffocated and built up until the pipe could not contain it. With electro-binoculars, the commander watched as several fighters exited several hangers of the ship. He orders that mass driver cannons be ready and that the pilots to their ships exit.

Then suddenly, everything went quiet. Not a sound could be heard. All of the computer screens went blank. The engines quit as well. There were no shield protection, nor were any weapons reporting. Then, the lights went out.

Episode 1: Far From Sanity

Everything was dark. There was no light to be shed on board the entire ship. Computers and monitors that should throw light across the room now stood dark and motionless. It’s as if space itself had flooded the entire ship with an eerie emptiness. Everything was quiet because everyone was taken aback by the sudden calm and silence.

Longo stood there in utter amazement, and shock. He began to wonder if perhaps this was just an engine malfunction, and that the engineers would have the power back up in a few seconds.

Seconds turned into minutes as the entire crew waited for the Nova-Typhoon to respond.

“You're all Jedi right?” Longo shouted, shattering the complete silence on the bridge. Longo’s question even caused some to flinch, or even jump in surprise. A few Jedi turned and nodded affirmatively. “Then why don’t you wave those little flashy swords of yours around and give us some light huh?”

One grabbed her lightsaber, but it would not activate. Several Jedi throughout the room tried to ignite their lightsabers, but they simply would not respond. Longo pulled a rescue flare from within his backpack, and ignited it. The people on the bridge got near the one source that brought light.

“So no electronic devices work.” Longo thought to himself.

“I think this is the work of that EMP device they stole from Maw.” Said the commander of the ship, now visible with the light of the flare. “We need to get to it and destroy it.”

“Well one good thing…” An engineer spoke up. “If they set that thing off, and it hit us, then maybe they're out too.” This idea sent a wave of relief over everyone on the bridge.

But then it happened. Looking out of the windows, the entire crew watched as the pirate ship regained stability and turned back over normally, and then turned sideways preparing to fire. The crew was stunned watching the unaffected ship head closer to them to get a better shot.

“If they are going to board us, then we might have a chance to get to that bomb.” Longo said, looking at what looked to be the leader of the Jedi, who was still starring at the pirate ship coming closer. “Haven’t you anything to say about this?” Longo asked the woman.

re: Journey to Unknown 000.0

It had been like an explosion of power, overwhelming and terrifying, and then it was suddenly quiet.
It was like being deafened, unable to hear force.

Laisha shook her head irritably. "Gone? It can't have..."

She turned around. Someone had said something to her.
Her eyes saw the smuggler staring questioningly back at her, as if she had suddenly grown a pair of wings and started flapping about the deck.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?"

It looked like the man was about to say something when he was cut short by the navigator.

"They're getting closer!" he said, backing away from the window.

"They're in range, they must mean to board us. Stupid devils, don't they recognise the force at work when they see it?"
He looked to Laisha, "You can take care of them, right?"

Laisha shook here head. The hum was returning, but she felt... odd.
"Maybe... I don't know."

She looked at the other Jedi next to her, noticing dazed and dizzy expresions on their faces.
"Did you two feel that?"

"Forget what you -feel-." Longo interrupted. "Perhaps if we stop –feeling, and start –planning, maybe we would get somewhere with this.” He finished, putting one hand near his blaster and then lifting his large backpack with the other.

A few irritatingly quiet seconds passed as the pirate ship slowly moved closer.

“Ok, standing here looking at each other isn’t going to fix things, we have to get ready.” The commander of the ship said nervously.

“Right, maybe we can stop them before they get to us...” Longo said, remembering the Phantom X-70 he saw sitting in the hanger.

He quickly grabbed Chyyn’s arm and pulled him out the door on the way to the hanger. He glanced back behind him to see the group starring at him strangely. With a sigh, he pulled several more flares out of his backpack and threw them to random people, to keep the place lit.

“So, anyone else going to come with me?” Longo asked, facing the fear-frozen group.

"I don't take orders from you, smuggler," Laisha snapped. "I fight my own battles. There is something far greater than your little ship at risk now."

She turned to the other Jedi, one looked about to speak, but Laisha raised her hand.

"Enough! This way, and quickly. We can use a ship in the hangar bay!"

The Jedi followed Laisha as she rushed past Longo towards the hangar. Brushing roughly past him.

The hangar was quiet. The large open space a stark contrast the the confines of the rest of the ship.

"There! We'll take that freighter out!" Laisha said, walking quickly over to it.
She reached out to grasp the walkway rails, when there was a dull synthetic roar.

"What was..."

A sudden force shook the hull, and Laisha tumbled to the ground. Her right arm twisted under her as she fell, and she let out a yelp as a burning flame shot up her arm.

The frigate was firing on the hangar!

re: Journey to Unknown 000.0

Longo was annoyed at the stubborn attitude the woman gave him.

"Who was she to think she was in some way better them him only because she carried the title: "Jedi"? I mean, all they do is order people around, if they want to servive they should start listening to others rather then their own voice."

Logno pushed these thoughts aside and redirected his thinking to getting to the pirate ship. He quickly ran after the group of Jedi to then hear a large explosion comming from one of the hangers. He turned into the doorway to see the group scattered, some lying moaning and groaning in agony, some dead.

He continued to scan the body-filled hanger until he saw Laisha, lying there on her back grasping her right shoulder. She apparently had been hit by the splash of debris that flew through the room when it hit.

"Uhhgg.... I tried to tell you to go to the other ship... This one can't start because of the EMP blast-wave." Longo said, quickly picking her up and running for the Phantom X-70.

The prototype ship was housed in a special containment field, as so no one could steal her; this provided an ideal "shield" against the EMP blast.

After trying the security code several times, the brilliant idea of simply destroying the computer console entered Chyyn's head. With a loud roar, he kicked the pannel clean off the wall; malfunctioning the lock and allowing an opening.

The three made their way on board, Longo placed Laisha on one of the passenger seats in the bridge, while Chyynbokka prepared the engines and weapons.

"How bad is your arm?" Longo asked with a look of concern.

Laisha winced as her arm knocked against the seat, sending sharp tingles up it.
She grimaced, making a sharp hissing noise against the pain.
"I'll... live."

Suddenly her eyes shot open, and fixed on Longo.
"The others! Where are they are they? Are they alright?" She tried to move, but the pain from moving to quickly slammed into her with the force of a force push.

"Blast it! I'm responsible for them!" She said, clasping her right hand. "Are they all right?! Tell me!"

Suddenly the silence was interupted by the sound of the engine turning on.

Laisha suddenly realised where she was.

"We're... on a ship? And there's power?" She stopped to look at Longo for the first time, really LOOK.

He didn't seem like much more than a smuggler, rough and used to tough life, but she knew that despite this he had pulled her, a jedi, to safety.

She shook her head. "I'm sorry, I should thank you for your help. Mr...?"

"Fesk" Longo said in reply, handing her a syringe of Kolto to numb the pain in her arm.

"Put this into your arm, it will help." Longo said, seeing the questioning look on her face.

Turning, he hopped into the seat and activated the weapons. A flash of green flew through the dark cockpit as the ship blew open the housing cage it was contained in, and then blew open a small part of the hanger security door, making just enough room to fly out before random debris plugged the hole.

It felt nice to be behind the controls of a state-of-the-art ship such as this. It was like being in the brain of a Rancor, giving it directions and watching it obey to the dot. He was finding himself going through the ship-status and data, almost amused with the hundreds of features it was outfitted with.

"Hey, buckle up back there, this is going to get rough really fast!" Longo shouted, switching the ship to manual controls.

The ship flew past the Hammerhead at a fast speed, clearing the vessel in a matter of seconds. As it quickly made it's way to the pirate ship, Phantom was welcomed by the other carrier with a barrage of Mass-driver AA guns, hopelessly trying to hit the speeding ship. He found and open hanger and hit the override thrusters, which sent them racing at incredible speeds for a ship its size, headed straight for the doorway.

He was just about to sit back and say that they had made it to the ship safely when it happened: Longo watched in horror as the hanger doors began to close.

"Your a Jedi, is there anything you can do about this?! We won't make it in time!" Longo shouted, turning back to the woman.

"You there! Wookiee!..." Laisha yelled over the flashing gunfire.

Chyyn roared in irritation, and waved his arms at her.

"Ok ok!" She yelled, steadying herself as he tried to stand up. "I'm sorry, but I don't know your name, now help me stand up."

With Chyyn's help she managed to stand, and reached out her good hand, letting her right dangles ueslessly at her side.

"here goes..."
She closed her eyes, and focused, centering herself on the task at hand, letting the sound of fire melt away like frost in the mid-day sun.
Then she opened her eyes.

The doors had shut, and Longo was struggling to keep them on course, glancing nervously at her as they neared the closed bulkhead.

Then she pushed.

But, instead of what she had expected, the bulkhead seemed to soften, seeming to shimmer.
As she watched, an extrusion began to form, flowing out from the centre of the doors.

She let go, pulling back in surprise at the sight, and an instant later, the door exploded.

"Alright, that'll have to do!" Longo shouted, trying to slow down the speeding craft.

The ship slowly but surely began to decrease in speed. They slowed and safely entered the Hanger. As they were landing, the emergency hanger blast-doors shut and pressure had already resumed at normal. The three glanced out of the observatory window to see a welcoming committee. Armed with various republic weapons, and several with Sith armer, the pirate boarding crew made their way to the ship, to try to force the hatchway open.

"Hurry and get the Auto-Turret System running, set it to fire at anything that moves!" Longo yelled into Chyyn's ears. "Let's move it! Hurry up! Let's go!" He continued while racing down the hull of his new ship.

Soon enough, the sound of an auto-turret firing off rounds and the screams of several men outside could be heard. Then an explosion. Apparently the auto turret was tracking movement across the hanger, when the target ran behind some flammable substance. It exploded, knocking several to the other side of the hanger.

"Alright, lets get to that device..." Longo said, now near the controls to the loading ramp.

Sprinting down the loading ramp; Chyyn quickly ran over and bypassed the Blast Door to the hanger, and lobbed a grenade inside. After hearing the explosion, and several pirate's screams of fright and agony as they were caught on fire and mindlessly running around in circles trying to escape their inevitable death by the flame, the three made their way into the corridor. They continued to fallow what seemed to be endless hallways until they came upon a turbo lift that would take them directly into the lobby of the bridge.

Longo attached a breach charge on the sealed door. Within a second, the charge detonated, blowing half of the door open, and leaving the other half charred. The three ran in at the same time: Lightsaber ignited and gun's loaded and pointed to see something they would never had guessed would happen. Bodies of men and alien alike littered the floor. Some still in their chairs, others fallen on tables and computers. One even dangling from railing attached to the roof (By his foot). They looked to the farthest part of the bridge to see a figure standing over a pirate, who looked to be begging for his life. The Jedi turned, thinking that maybe the captain called in some reenforcement.

Longo stylishly and skillfully twirled both blasters back into their holsters.

"If you are a Jedi, then you are among friends." Longo spoke.

re: Journey to Unknown 000.0

The Jedi turned. It was none other then Rehmere. He turned and walked past the three without a second glance. Chyyn looked to the other side of the room to see the captain getting up from his knees and drawing a blaster. Chyyn quickly pulled his weapon from one of his holsters and fired, sending a sharp red bolt directly to the forehead of the captain.

After assuring that everything would be fine, Laisha ran back to catch up with Rehmere. The Wookie and his smuggler companion watched out the window as two eject pods were launched toward the near-by Republic vessel.

“Well, I guess were on our own again…” Longo said, still starring out into the emptiness of space.

The two turned, and opened the door that led out of the bridge to find a group of pirates trying to break the lock on the previously sealed door. The two unloaded a barrage of plasma to the group: wounding some, killing others, and causing the rest to scatter. They quickly ran forward and then dove directly into the side-wall, covered by a bulkhead. Longo continued to drain the energy in his blaster; picking off as many of the multi-colored alien pirates as he could. Chyynbakka activated a thermal detonator, and tossed it over his shoulder, hurling the grenade right behind the enemy that were slowly getting closer. After the explosion, Longo picked up a fallen pirates rifle: A Heavy Repeater Blaster Cannon. He unloaded what seemed to be a hundren volleys at the incoming pirates; mowing them down as they entered. He was even able to penetrate the wall, killing several hiding on the other side of the door. Chyyn activated a small thermal grenade and tangled its hold-chord to several sonic charges. He then tossed the bundle of tangled bombs through the door. After feeling the shock in the floor from the sonic mines, and hearing the screams of pirates, running around a-balze from the thermal detonator, the two felt it safe to enter the next room.

Stepping out from cover, Longo looked at where the wall used to be, it is now in crumbles. The wall, floor and ceiling alike were littered with chard plasma implosions; even the walls themselves seemed to have bent backward from the sonic grenades that were tossed in. Then he saw it: part of the wall that blocks from the outside was starting to crack. Then, in that second, it seemed to have snapped like wood. They quickly made it into the next room and sealed the door shut while what used to be the bridge is now being sucked clean into space.

“Come on Chyyn, we ‘gotta get to that device!” Longo yelled, taking a turbo lift directly to the core of the great ship.

As they entered the core, they saw it: It was hooked up to a targeting device, and directly being powered by the core of the ship. Just then, the entire ship growned in agony as a volley of turbo-laser blasts hit the side of the ship.

“They must have power again!” Chyyn roared excitedly.

“Yeah, well they had better start aiming a whole lot better then that or they are going to get us killed!” Longo shouted in reply.

Just then, the ship took another blow from a turbo-laser blast, sending Longo and Chyyn flying toward the device. Then Longo’s time-keeper went off, signaling the complete global alignment. Then he felt his body press against the running device, and then Chynn’s falling on him. He fell unconscious.

Silence. Everything was quiet. Not a sound could be heard.

“Am I alive?” “Where are we Chyyn…”, “Chyyn?”

After thinking to himself, he opened his eyes. His senses were slowly coming back to him. He was lying on his back; his head was facing toward his right shoulder, looking outside of some sort of window. Then he started to smell something. It smelled familiar. Like a Wookie in much need for a bath. Indeed, Chyyn lay unconscious on top of him. Longo pushed him over and sat up. Rubbing his throbbing head, he looked over.

“Chyyn, get up!” Longo whispered, now hearing what sounded to be a door shutting, and then another opening.

Chyyn sat up and looked around. The room was vary large. It seemed to look like a large bridge for a star ship.

Suddenly, they heard loud screams from three men along with what sounded to be a lightsaber whirling around and then to deactivate. Longo peered up from the security railing he was behind to see a lone figure in red with a dark sash around him enter the doorway. Longo looked to his left to find several large tanks filled with some sort of liquid. Within these tanks were floating bodies. Longo looked back at the lone figure to then see the door open. Then a human walked down the isle. He wore an old Mandolorian’s mask. The two exchanged some in-audible words, and then engaged into combat. After several minutes of a skillful dual, the man with the helmet delivered the final blow. Longo gasped as he saw the match finish.
{This is what the two saw}

Episode 2: Complete Confusion

Taking a large gulp of air and holding it, Longo watched as the man casually walked up the ramp to stand near the center viewport windows.

Longo heard explosions from the outside. Old Sith and Republic fighter squads flew past the window, still waging war from the outside. Flashes of light bounced through the room, fallowed by the loud shock of crashing ships outside. With one eye closed, Longo stared at the hooded figure. Then the man turned and faced the two frightened smugglers.

“He’s going to kill us next…” Longo thought to himself.

Longo threw a glance to Chyyn; noting the look of concern on his face.

“It certainly take’s a lot to frighten a Wookie, Chyyn no less…” Longo thought, working up the effort to place his near-shattered left arm over his blaster. Then he noticed it, off near Chyyn’s left foot lay the EMP device. Now visible without loose electricity flaring around it like before, he saw the device was much smaller then he expected, he reached over and grasped and lifted it with his forearm.

Slowly, armor-plated footsteps could be heard coming closer. Now more like ceremonial-ritual drums, Longo’s heart pounded within him, sending jolts of fear threw him. Then he felt it: a pressure falling upon him. It grew and grew by the second, causing him to perspire greatly. He closed his eyes to try and calm his heart rate, knowing that the republic forces, wherever they are now, need him alive to get the EMP device back. He let out a breath through his clenched teeth and opened his eyes. He saw him: a man about his height, standing before him and Chyyn. Although his face could not be seen behind the old Mandalorian helmet, he could somehow feel the compassion and concern from the man. The man placed his hands on his mask to take it off. Instead of waiting for the help of the man, Longo tried to push himself up to his feet with his left arm, but as he tried, his left arm buckled in, now completely shattered. Falling to the floor, he let out a deep grown, which made him very nauseous. Then, he blacked out.

He awoke to blinding brightness. He felt himself breathing again, slowly and calmly. Now beginning to see things clearly, he blinked. Sound began to register to him; he could hear synthetic voices, and a continual beeping noise. He looked over to see Chyyn standing off to the side, speaking with a man. Longo’s curiosity won out: he began to sit up and pull of the wires. He felt an itch in his left arm, not being able to endure it any longer, he reached over to scratch it when his hand went straight through and touched the blanket. He gazed in horror as he noticed his left arm was gone. He screamed in horror, frightening the droid attendant and catching the attention of the man speaking with Chyyn. The beeping noise began to increase, but he didn’t need a machine to tell him his heart was racing, he felt it like bombs exploding within him. He leaped off the bed and stood to his feet. Slowly walking over to Chyyn, he felt the cold hand of a droid touch his shoulder. In complete confusion, he swung his numb right arm around, taking the head of the droid clean off. He looked back at the stunned soldier and the concerned wookie. Chyyn entered the room with his gun drawn, and then fired. Longo felt consciousness leaving him.

He awoke again to see several men in teal aprons standing around him. He looked over to see a metallic appendage hanging from his left shoulder.

“What have I gotten us into this time?” Longo asked out loud.

“Well, you got yourself one nice bump on the head and a few cuts and scratches.” One of the doctor said trying to comfort him.

“Pfftt... One really nasty cut I'd say…” Longo said in reply, paying no head to the doctor’s attempt to lighten the mood.

Longo stood and then walked out of the room, moaning word’s under his breath while getting his stuff. After re-arming, he found his way to what looked to be a command center of some sort. After finding an officer, Longo began to ask questions.

“What is this place?”

“Ahh yes, you are our lucky patient aren’t you? We are happy to say that you are %100 recovered.”

“Answer my question!” Longo said, pushing the point.

“Well, this is a ship, you are one of the survivor’s we pulled off of the Star Forge before she fell.”

“Star what?”

“You must have taken a bigger hit to the head then we thought, I mean it’s not like you just happened to suddenly and randomly appear in the command room out of nowhere without a reason!” The officer said chuckling.

Longo didn’t think it was very funny; in fact, it only seemed to make things worse.

“Where are we?”

“Well, we just landed here on Couruscant, where we will be celebrating the victory over the Sith fleet.”

“No, no… No, no, no! I have to get out of here!” Longo said, turning and walking speedily out the door and near the docking hatch.

“No, wait! You don’t know what you’re doing! STOP!” The officer shouted after him.

Longo turned the corner and bumped right into Chyyn’s chest.

“Ugghh, I knew you’d be around here someplace, I could smell you from the bridge… Come on, we have to get out of here.” Longo said, noting the piece of food hanging from Chyyn’s mouth. Growling in opposition, Chyyn pulled his arm back and lifted the platter of food he was carrying.

“I don’t care if they have a large buffet, I wouldn’t even care if they paid you to eat their food! We have to get out of here!” Longo said, tugging Chyyn’s arm. Chyyn let out a sigh and put the plate on the nearest available counter. Fallowing Longo, the two made their way to the cargo-hold. Chyyn reminded Longo that they had better get the device before they leave. After debating where it could be, Chyyn pointed straight at it. It was sitting on a small box in the middle of a large pile of crates. After picking up the device and hoisting it over his shoulder, Longo left out of the emergency hatchway. The two ran down the ramp as now the emergency alarm went off throughout the ship. They continued to race out of the ship until they finally landed on the surface of Couruscant. They continued to run until they eventually ducked into an alleyway. Feeling it was safe; the two smugglers took a moment to breathe.

Longo began to feel the synthetic-nerve-system built into his left arm begin to work. He raised the robotic limb, and moved its fingers. It responded to commands just as quickly as his right hand, and moved just as fast.

“We have to keep moving, if they found out we took this, we might as well jump into an oven and be baked to a crisp and then be placed on a tray of vegetables for a Raider back on the Beach...Longo said, putting his hand near one of his blasters. The sound of footsteps could be heard coming from up ahead. Chyyn jumped to the side while Longo continued ahead. Through the steam and smog, Longo identified two men, a Rodian, and a Weequay. The four drew closer, pulling several weapons from various pockets. With both arms, Longo opened up his coat: reveling both blasters. Straightening both shoulders, he put both hands near his two holsters, preparing to draw.

Episode 3: Sense of a Smuggler

The ghostly shadows drew closer and closer. They were simultaneously stepping, making it impossible to judge how many could be heard. Taking two steps forward, Longo tuned out everything around him, except for the thud of the synchronized footsteps ahead of him. He focused his sight directly in the middle of the large shadow. Then in an instant, part of the steam shrouding the group cleared. In that split second that they were unveiled, Longo saw the one in front drawing a blaster. In the next micro-second, Longo had both blasters out of their holsters. He fired four shots into the cloud, and watched as the entire group fell to the ground. The cloud evaporated, revealing the dead. Smelling the charred plasma at the end of one of his blasters, he blew it off, and skillfully twirled both blasters back underneath his long coat.

Chyyn stood from where he was hiding, holding the EMP device close to his chest with one arm, and wiping the sweat-stained fur on his forehead. He handed the EMP generator to Longo, and crouched over the bodies to take whatever ammunition they had on them. After several minutes of luting, he found two small vibroblades, a dozen thermal detonators, four blaster pistols and a Tri-light Arotech Sniper Rifle. Taking the rifle, Longo hooked it to the bandolier he had draping across his back.

“This ought to do nicely…” He said, picking the generator back up and placing it into Chyyn’s backpack. Chyyn roared in opposition, as his pack was nearly full and getting heavy.

“Yeah yeah, just hang in there, we’ll find somewhere to sell them. We might get enough for dinner and maybe breakfast tomorrow…” Longo said, beginning the hike into the vast city-planet.

As the sun fell behind the rising buildings, Chyyn began to growl repeatedly, or maybe it was his stomach. It seemed to be loud enough to roar like a Wookie. Coming up to a clearing in the buildings, the two saw a rather shifty looking Rodian sitting near an alleyway between two restaurants. The Rodian had bulges in his chest, as if he were hiding pointy metal objects under his jacket. Pointing to the Rodian, Longo suspected that perhaps he was an underworld arm’s dealer.

“Maybe he’ll by this junk.” Longo said, beginning to walk over.

“Pssstt!” Beckoning with one hand, Longo signaled for the Rodian to walk over.

The Rodian acknowledged and began to casually walk over to the two Smugglers. The Rodian walked past them into the alley behind them, waving for them to fallow him in. Just then, virtual red flags began to rise in Longo’s mind. Longo has been in thousands of transactionss in his life, and what he felt coming from this Rodian seemed odd for some unexplainable reason. The two fallowed the Rodian down the alley, and then turned a corner.

The Alley dead-ended, and the lone Rodian sat there with both hands tucked within its pant’s pockets. Then, it happened: The Rodian whipped around to face the two, and opened up its coat to reveal robotic appendages sticking out of a metal suit tucked underneath the Rodian’s coat and pants. Six small metal arms holding six separate blasters pointed directly at the smugglers.

“Any last words?” The Rodian spoke in his own tongue.

Chyyn roared in anger, pulling a blaster and firing it, blowing off two of the arms. Longo quickly grabbed both of his and sent plasma into almost every inch of the Rodian’s body.

“So much for him…” Longo said, turning back to get out of the alley. When they turned the corner, they saw Coruscant P.D. blocking the exit. Brandishing stun batons: they slowly crept closer to the smugglers to complete the arrest. Backing up, Chyyn tripped on some debris and fell backwards, dropping the EMP bomb. It responded with a loud hum, and then it began to glow. Everything around turned a bright color, and then a flash of sheer brightness.

Episode 4: Going Down in History

Longo watched, overwhelmed by the engulfing brightness surrounding him and Chyyn. This is the first time he actually got to see the device in action without passing out. He felt a large hairy arm reach around his elbow, grasping his forearm in a lock. He looked over to see Chyyn who was holding onto part of Longo’s sleeve. This caused Longo to remembered the first time he met Chyyn: Who at the time was a very small and young wookie cub crying for his life as a merciless bounty hunter held a blaster between his eyes. Longo remembered the wookie’s frightened look in requesting for mercy for whatever he had done to the hunter. Longo has on multiple occasions asked why he was being threatened by a bounty hunter, and what happened to his parents, but he has never spoken of it. After pulling out a blaster, he put a sharp needle of plasma into the hunter’s neck, just below his helmet, instantly incapacitating him. He remembered the look Chyyn gave him, it was a mixture between appreciation, and terror; not knowing if he was Longo’s next target. Longo remembered kneeling down and picking up the young cub as if he were his own son. The cub held him for hours until they came upon his old and beat-up junk-hauler, and yet, here he was a full grown and fearless wookie, grasping his arm as he did then. The thought filled Longo’s eyes with tears; he had never felt such an emotion in quite some time. Then, he remembered that dreadful day, on Couruscant, when the very light brought from the sun was blackened by invading Sith forces. Everything around him was collapsing. The odor of burning flesh and erupting fumes from continual-discharging Anti Aircraft guns filled the entire city where he and his wife lived. Indeed, the Sith turned on him, setting his beloved home and city ablaze: Killing his friends, neighbors, and family in cold blood. And it was his entire fault because he was one of the agent’s sent there to report the security change and lowering of defenses to the Sith. Thinking that he would be able to escape on time, he and his wife jumped into the open streets where Sith foot soldiers marched down, destroying everything in their path. Immediately seeing him, they opened fire. Longo grimaced, blinking the painful memories away.

He grabbed Chyyn’s extended arm, watching what looked to be space itself being pulled under them, then it all stopped. The bright glowing about them faded until completely gone. They both began to feel wind. A large gust at that, and it seemed to keep getting stronger and stronger. Then he noticed what was going on.

They were falling! He watched as several thousand lights lit up the ground, piercing through the dark sky. Several beams of light shot into the sky from the ground.

“Searchlights?” Longo said to himself. Just then, a large flying vessel in the shape of a giant bird flew several yards below him. Suddenly, small implosions filled the sky below them: erupting into small clouds sending small particles into the flying vessels.

“Projectile based AA Guns?” Longo thought to himself, trying to figure out what planet they could be on. “Who still uses projectiles?” He finished.

Then he saw several aircraft flying behind the first, dropping small canisters that exploded when impacting the ground, destroying buildings, vehicles, men, woman and children. Just then, he smashed into one, a large craft flying very low to the ground, dropping several bombs onto the surface below. Chyyn managed to miss however, but grabbed a small window. Taking his other arm, he punched a whole through the window, and climbed through. Using his robotic hand, Longo reached over and slid into the hole Chyyn made. Inside was a small cat-walk, a 2x4 peace of wood that stretched across the fuselage. On both sides of the 2x4 were racks of several more bombs waiting to be deployed. Then, a man appeared on the other side of the walkway with a weapon Longo had never seen in his life. It was a small fire arm, with a short barrel. It had a large rectangular magazine that shot out from the bottom.

Pointing the gun at him, he spoke in a language he had never heard before.

“Halt! Bewegen Sie nicht oder Sie werden geschossen werden!” The man said.

Longo gave a glance to Chyyn, and then pulled out his blasters.

“Click”… “Click…” Was the only sound that was heard from the blasters.

“Ahh… I’m out of ammo Chyyn...” Longo said, remembering how much they had been used throughout the entire journey to wherever he is. Then, it happened: The entire craft leaned over to one side; taking a blow from an AA gun. Just then, several holes were made into the floor, hitting the strange man with the strange language. The two then made their way to the cockpit, where they found another man behind controls very similar to that of Longo’s old junk-pile of a ship. With a glance, the man pulled a small firearm, pointing it directly at the two.

Chyyn roared, scaring the man, and then picked him up and through him out of a window to his left, shattering the glass. Longo hopped into the seat, and pulled the large craft to its right.

It just so happened that he and Chyyn fell into a Squad Leader’s plane, so when he turned right, the other 5 or 6 planes behind him turned. Hearing several shouts and what he thought were curses coming from the radio, he threw it out of the window, which flew directly into the window of the plane behind him, hitting the pilot head on, sending the plane into a spiral while it was deploying bombs. One of the bombs –being dropped upside down- exploded within the plane, causing several pieces of the place to shoot out from it, making them hit various other planes in the squad. Eventually, with the exception of Longo’s plane, there was only one plane left. However, the AA guns began to fire at it, destroying it entirely.

“Wow… I just wanted the guy on the communicator to be quiet…” Longo said, chuckling to himself.

Just as Longo started to calm down and began to breath normally, Chyyn roared in freight, seeing a large tree emerge from their right. Longo quickly pulled the place to the left, but it was far too late: The wing clipped the tree trunk, ripping half of it off, and sending them spiraling to the surface.

“Hang on Chyyn, WE’RE GOING DOWN!”

re: Journey to Unknown 000.0

The lights went out… Without the constant brightening of rockets bursting in the sky, sending it’s orange glow throughout the cockpit, Longo wouldn’t have been able to distinguish the landscaping as well as he could. The plane continued to spiral until the velocity of the air circulating around the one full port wing tore it clean off, balancing the plane in mid air, making it a large speeding bullet. Clearing the top of a hill, Longo watched in horror as the large wingless aircraft was aiming directly into a rising brick tower with what looked to be a giant fan mounted to the front section. His plain continued to descend mile by mile, and then he noticed that his eyes began to get very dry, and then water. He squinted, trying to keep his eyes clear of whatever is disturbing them. Then he smelled it: smoke beginning to fill the cockpit with a thick toxic haze. Getting up from his seat, he looked into the bomb racks section in the middle of the fuselage, where a small flame was beginning to spread throughout the entire back end.

Then, the tail detached, engulfed with flames.

“Chyyn, we have to get off of whatever this is or we will be dead before he hit whatever that structure is!” Longo yelled to his companion over the crashing commotion.

The two looked to their left to see two separate backpacks dangling from some railing above one of the racks.

“I think I have an idea what those are there for…” Chyyn said in his own language.

Grabbing one, he put the other on Longo, and grabbed him, dragging him out of the plane, and then he told him to pull a chord dangling from the right side of it. In an instant, a circular fabric shot up from the pack, decreasing their fall drastically. Softly landing in some sort of fields, the two made their way to the center of one of the acres. Then, they remembered something: The EMP device. Chyyn checked several times in his backpack. After finding nothing, the two began to panic. Looking back up into the sky, they saw the burning plane explode and fell straight into the strange tower.

“Perhaps it fell out before we jumped out the back?” Longo asked Chyyn.

With a nod of approval, Chyyn said he couldn’t think of anywhere else it could have gone to. So they began to travel through the plains, and up and down two small hills. After reaching the top of the third hill, they saw it: The tower had collapsed from the impact of the large bomber. The aircraft was completely covered in debris from the fallen tower.

“There it is… We have to get over there before…” Longo was cut off by distant shouts. Lights flashing from moving vehicles were seen slowly approaching the plain.

“To kill or capture survivors…” Longo whispered to his friend.

“We don’t have any weapons, so we are going to have to get it and go.” Chyyn growled back.

“Right… We have done far crazier things…” Longo said trying to reassure them both.

Starting the quiet trek to the sight, Longo and Chyyn quickly jogged to a now fenced area. While making their way here, the soldiers were able to put up some barb-wire around the perimeter, protecting the sight from outsiders. Longo could see a few dozen men standing around a recently lit fire, inspecting the crash site. The two made their way over the fence without being heard or seen. They quickly hopped into the wreckage, hiding behind charred bomb-racks. Peering through the small gaps in the racks, Chyyn watched as the men began to gather around in a circle around a certain spot. Then one of them bent over and picked up what looked to be their EMP Generator. Chyyn immediately was about to stand to his feet, when he felt a hand being placed on his right shoulder.

“We don’t have any ammo…” Longo whispered under his breath.

With a nod, Chyyn crouched back down behind the racks.

“Alright lads, there’s none in here… They’re probably ‘round here somewhere… Those devils, they won’t survive the night!” One of the men said.

“Hey, they speak our language!” Longo thought to himself.

After all the men cleared from the debris, Longo crept out of his hiding spot, and looked out of the doorway. The men held the device; throwing it around to one another to feel and hold. Then it came into what looked to be the captain’s hands.

“Ahh, let’s get this back to command, they might find this quite remarkable…:” The commander said. “Hurry up now lads, we haven’t got very much time before daybreak!” He yelled again.

Seeing a supply truck, Longo and Chyyn jumped in.
