Why do you wear the avatar you wear?

I am a very curious person, especially when it comes to the thoughts and intents of the heart and mind of man. I thought it would be fun to start a thread asking why you wear the avatar you wear? You know... that little picture under your name.

My avatar is a picture of Rhino, the crazy hamster from Disney's Bolt. Rhino may appear crazy to most people, and he probably is, but I see in him just your ordinary joe who still believes there are real heroes out there, heroes who can make a difference, heroes who are awesome because they always do the right thing, always save the day. Sometimes a crazy hamster has more hope in his little pinky than most people ever have in their lives. Not only does he believe in hope when it defies all logic, he's willing to take on the world, no matter how big it is because he sees a higher cause. He is not afraid to do right no matter how big the enemy.

My meaningful side to it is that when I am in this guild posting away I feel like I can show who I am and supposed to be so I choose pictures that appeal to me and express my feelings to some extent. Also...ITS CUTE!!! you can not deny that

Mine is a self made mash-up between the symbol of the Terran Empire (Mirror Universe, Star Trek) and the symbol of the Jedi with color options plastered on it, and the symbol for my old guild. Omega Fleet.

I made it for Star Trek Online, found I really liked the look, and now use it for everything. that requires an Avatar. To bad I can't use it for my Xbox.

I got tagged "Boots" by my Aunt, so it is my real life nickname. I wore boots everyday up on her ranch in Colorado while I was on a winter break from college studies. She said I picked myself up by my own bootstraps; the name was a welcome compliment, and it just kind of stuck. My favorite color is purple, thus the warm, suede, purple boots.

I should tease my aunt and tag her, "Hats."
