Chicago LIES about Chick-fil-a's Switch on Gay Marriage

Lol all you who flocked to support Chick-fil-a may wish for your money back. They've caved in and will not support any group who is opposed to full Gay Marriage.

I'm more disappointed with them then the godless businesses. I suggest not eating at Chick-fil-a anymore.

Controversy was generating from a lying politician in Chicago. Hmm. Is that surprising? I do remember, however, a few years ago when Chick-fil-a did make a change....a change to no longer support political groups.

Well maybe the business won't contribute, but that isn't to say the owner won't through his private finances... humm? Either way the Restaurant can still be a good testimony through their business practices of not being open on Sunday, and in other ways.

At the end of the day, they sell chicken, they are not a war machine against morals in society. My boss is a Christian, but I know our machine-shop business doesn't support anti-gay orgs... or anti-anything. We are in the business of making product, to sell to our customers, and so is Chick-fil-a.

After reading the article, I do not see anything to be ashamed about. They released a statement saying the company and its employees respect everyone, and that they will be careful about what orgs. they will contribute to.

At the end of the day the Restaurant can sell chicken, and the owner and christian employees can believe and support whomever they want. Not a biggie to me.

After calculating the cost, they realized that while Chicago politicians and others would withhold their money and support from a business that stood for traditional marriage (a position mandated by the state constitutions of 30/50 states), Christians would continue simply to accept and tolerate it. The left was unrelenting in their immoral stand while the right consistently justifies a continuing downward slide of small degrees.

Focus on the Family is not a political action committee. They are a biblical ministry. However, because they support the biblical definition of marriage, Chick-fil-a will no longer support them. Count in that number ANY genuinely Christian organization, for every biblical ministry should have the same standards as God's Word. This is a big deal ... to get a Northern Chicago store openned, they have decided to pull out their charitible support of Christian ministries.

I have worked, happily, for the past 5 years protecting the brand of Chick-fil-A, serving ALL guests no matter WHO they are.

And now all I see is Christians flippin out on facebook, twitter and other interwebz outlets.

I completely understand and agree with what you are saying, but let me share my disappointment. Chick-fil-A has changed nothing about their business, but they have made a decision on what to do with their financial givings that will hurt the kingdom - and this decision was made solely based on pressure from the anti-Christian and pro gay supporters. It is tough to be a light in the darkness and with ministries like Focus on the Family loosing MAJOR financial contributions they will be dramatically downsized in their impact in our nation for Christ and Christian marriages(which are in desperate need of help). Like Recklan, I love the waffle fries so I will still buy from them. However, I am sad to see them buckle to the adversary. Do you see my frustration?

I made it a point to frequent their locations because of their biblical beliefs and how they were willing to stand out amongst the crowd. Now they have become no different than all other chains. My wallet will treat them as such.

Is Focus on the Family an anti-gay group, I say would argue no, they support traditional family values. Sometimes you have to read behind the lines from a PR perspective.
