Aawww! Adorable! Looks a lot like one of my kitties, Banjo, did as a little fuzzball. Though I think he was even more tiny than that when we first got him! Now he is a quite big orange blur bouncing around the house... 
Though, are you sure that it's a girl? It can be tricky to tell with kittens, despite what you might think. And the ginger color is more common among males. I did some research on cat color genetics when I got this crazy munchkin.
This phenomena is because males only get one copy of the gene that determines that color, and females get two. All available copies of the gene must be for "red" type in order to get a "red" colored cat, while the combination of one red and one non-red (which of course is only possible on a female) produces a mixed color tortoiseshell or calico cat. So for a red male, only one parent needs a copy of the red type gene, while for a red female, both must have a copy.

Well, not to get too specific, we've looked at her and haven't seen anything to see anything to suggest she's a boy. However, we have not been to the vet, so this might be one of those "Wait? Kevin's a girl?" situations, if i can make a Disney/Pixar movie reference. UPDATE: The kitten is male. His name has now become Toulouse. :D
That is interesting with the genetics, tho. I had no idea.
And yes, she is precious. Hopefully, my father falls in love with her as much as the rest of the family has, so we can keep her. WE GET TO KEEP HER!
