One Iconic Blog
The other day my 4 year old daughter and I sat and watched KUNG FU PANDA. No it wasn't the new one. I haven't gone and seen that one yet. Yes, I am going to,.. soon. Anyway, while watching the movie I couldn't help but to notice the similarities between it and Star Wars. Have you ever noticed that before? If not, think about it. Here you have this Panda named “Po” who is living his life as a soup maker. His father is clearly not his “real” Dad because he’s a goose of some kind. As fate would have it He is chosen to be the dragon warrior. Is he chosen because of his talent and a gifted warrior? No, He was chosen because of his desire to was is right. There are a bunch of other things but like Luke Skywalker Po too chose to do the right thing in the end. And it was that choice that brought peace to his world.
Yes I am aware this blog was just me rambling but then again what are blogs for.
Oh and don’t Po ultimate Jedi move, the Woshee hold,.. SKADOOOOOSH!!!!

Teamspeak. People all over the world are using it while playing computer games. It's a great way to connect other gamers and actually hear their voice while you play. I remember back in the late 90's before we had things like ventrilo and teamspeak. In those days you had to use a 3rd party chat program like ICQ. It's much like the chatting system you see nowadays in mmo's like in Rift, LOTRO and the World of Warcraft. I saw who it was and so I jumped into Teamspeak. Now I know that's not very interesting but what happen about 45 mins later is. I was talking to my friend and suddenly relized I had stopped playing my toon. In fact the AFK screen came up to alert me i was going to auto log off!
Then it hit me,.. I play this game with a guy I have NEVER met face to face. Infact he lives on the other side of the country and we are sitting here online talking about important real life stuff. You know, the things that REALLY matter.
Later that evening I asked myself; "Would I be friends with... More

Today marks the first step in my SOTOR blogging journey. As I stand here looking to the future I am filled with excitement and wonder at what adventures lie ahead. With no SWTOR release date the thought of exploring the world of the Old Republic feels more like a dream than it does a reality. You know the kind I am talking about. It's the one where everything is perfect and then you wake up to find none of it was real. You try and go back to sleep to continue the fantasy but now your wide awake and it's too late. So instead you lay there in your bed and scream Nooooooooo!!! like Darth Vader did when he was told his wife died. Oh the pain of it all. When will it ever end? We can only hope. :)
