A Khat Remains [OOC Discussion]

Hey ya'll~ "A Khat Remains" is a FFXIV RP set mostly in the 7th Astral Era.

**One should take note when reading this RP that some cultural accents have been displayed phonetically into words. Examples of these:
When Mi'qote speak, as a result of their feline nature they tend to add a hiss sound into some words when speaking. This is represented in this RP by a gray italicized "h" and should not be pronounced when read.

This RP will follow the story of Howse Khat, a young Mi'qote whose sister (Straii) and companions played a major role in the events of the 6th Astral Era. Now left on his own with the young Lalafell Lytel, Howse begins his story anew in a transformed Eorzea.

The fall of Dalamud and the Prelude to this RP take place while Howse is at the young age of 15 (Straii was 19 at this time). Subsequently, the story picks 5 years after the calamity with Howse now 20; and follows the Realm Reborn storyline.

Howse's story, along with that of his sister and their companions will be told throughout the course of the RP.


The only section up right now is the prelude, which shows Howse's role in the evacuation of Gridania while the Battle of Carteneau simultaneously occurs. For those who are unfamiliar with this battle or the FFXIV storyline in general, this video displays the events of that day:
